Welcome to Shared Smile Behavioral Health. This page provides helpful information for existing patients regarding communication, appointments, and ongoing care.
Appointments
Appointments are scheduled in advance and conducted via secure telehealth.
If you need to schedule or adjust an appointment, please do so through the patient portal or contact the office during business hours.
Communication
For non-urgent questions or updates, please use the patient portal or email.
Please allow 1–2 business days for a response.
Communication outside of scheduled visits should be limited to brief, administrative, or clarification-related questions.
Medication & Refills
Medication refills should be requested in advance through the patient portal or your pharmacy.
Please allow adequate time for processing.
Refills are typically addressed during scheduled appointments whenever possible.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24–48 hours notice.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee, as outlined in your intake agreement.
After-Hours & Urgent Concerns
Shared Smile Behavioral Health does not provide emergency or after-hours crisis services.
If you are experiencing an urgent concern or crisis:
- Call 911
- Go to the nearest emergency room
- Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline)
Scope of Care
This practice provides outpatient psychiatric care.
For concerns requiring immediate attention, higher levels of care, or crisis intervention, please use the appropriate emergency resources.
A Note on Care
Care is designed to be thoughtful, collaborative, and consistent. Regular follow-up appointments are an important part of maintaining progress and ensuring safe, effective treatment.
